What makes me tick?
We people are travellers. Our journey has no beginning, no end, but endless is the variety of forms it takes. It is the stories of this journey I am looking for. Old stories, the stories they dream of. I love to work in an international context, in French and English as well as in German.
What is my background?
Since my theatre education at the Faculté de Théâtre de Vincennes (Paris, 1978-1982), with teachers of l’École Jacques Lecoq, with Augusto Boal, Yves Lebreton, the Roy Hart Theatre and with Carlo Boso (Piccolo Teatro de Milano), I have worked for many theatre companies in the Netherlands and abroad.
In the early 90s, the opportunity of acting within communication training came on my way.
In 2008, I took the postgraduate continuing professional education Communication Trainer with BGL & Partners. Currently, I mainly work as a trainer.
In 2019, I took the coach training with Dialogue BV.
Since 2012, I have been seeking to develop my own theatre language, in line with John Cage’s aesthetics. Samuel Beckett is my inspiration.
